What Is Pogether?

Pogether is a social productivity app where you meet friends at a virtual desk and study together using a shared pomodoro timer. It's free on iOS and Android, requires no camera or microphone, and is available in 13 languages.

In short: Pogether brings the feeling of studying side by side with friends at the library to your phone.

How Does Pogether Work?

  1. Create or join a desk: Set up a virtual study desk and send the invite link to friends — or join an open desk.
  2. A shared timer starts: Everyone at the desk shares the same pomodoro cycle (for example, 25 minutes of focus, 5 minutes of break). Intervals are customizable.
  3. Real-time presence: You see who's focusing and who's on break, live. No camera — your avatar represents you at the desk.
  4. Break chat: Silence during focus blocks; chat opens during breaks.
  5. Progress tracking: After each session, your stats, daily streaks, and leaderboard positions update.
